Ascend Airways operates primarily out of London Heathrow and Manchester airports, with additional routes from Edinburgh and Belfast.
Ascend Airways Cabin Crew Requirements:
To join the Ascend Airways team, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 18 years or above
- Have the right to live and work in the UK (Ascend Airways does not offer Skilled Worker VISA sponsorship)
- No live or unspent criminal convictions or cases pending
- Hold a minimum of three GCSEs (A-C or 9-4) or equivalent, and be fluent in both written and spoken English
- Reach up to 210cm high without shoes, standing on tiptoes if needed. At the assessment centre, candidates will retrieve, re-stow, and remove a piece of safety equipment
- Be able to sit in a crew seat 45cm high with feet flat on the floor (without shoes). Candidates must also secure the seat belt and harness without the use of an extension seat belt and adopt the cabin crew brace position
- Be able to swim 25 metres unaided and tread water while putting on and manually inflating a life jacket
- Commit to completing an intensive 5-week training programme
- Have at least 12 months of customer service experience at the time of application
- Possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, an adventurous spirit, and a desire to explore new places and cultures
Ascend Airways Salary:
Ascend Airways offers a competitive starting salary of approximately £20,229, plus trip pay of around £5,000, onboard commission, and additional allowances once flying.
