Cabin Crew Success Case Study

Sue's Story

SueSue discovered our Cabin Crew Wings website back in March. She booked in to join us on our 2 day ‘Get a Cabin Crew Job’ course for the beginning of June. She then applied to Ryan Air and got an interview for April!

We sent her the Cabin Crew Assessment eBook (which would normally be sent after the course) so that she could prepare for her interview.

We also sent her some Cabin Crew Interview-related articles that were yet to be added to our website that would also assist her.

Sue was worried that being a more mature applicant would count against her, but we assured her that this was definitely not the case, as long as she was fit and healthy and could cope with the jet lag! Having raised a family and run several businesses, Sue was keen to start a new career, something for herself.

Sue used our CV review service so our Work Psychologist – and CV expert, went over this for her, and offered suggestions for improving it. She appreciated the feedback and amended the CV accordingly.

It’s reassuring to know my CV is well written and I will amend in parts as your experienced colleague mentioned. Although I’m happy with the way my career has gone I’d like to go in a different direction and see some of the world.

I’ve recently separated from my husband, so I have no commitments at home as my children are all grown up, so this job would be my dream job, and it’s a perfect career choice for me…Thank you for your support.

Sue wasn’t successful at Ryanair, but this didn’t deter her. She applied to another airline, and again went for Assessment.

Great news! I went in the assessment day on Friday For Jet2 and received my email yesterday I’ve been accepted for the training course!!

I am absolutely thrilled to say the least. My dream job could be starting in as soon as 8 weeks!

You’ve been really helpful and I’m really grateful. I’m so excited, I can’t believe it, really !!
I loved my interview, they made me feel like me. It was a lovely interview and a lovely company to work with.

I hope it will inspire other people like myself to never give up on your dreams, because they do come true I’m so happy, the uniform is beautiful colours too I’ll keep in touch with my progress and training

Thank you so much for everything !!
Love sue xxxx

Sue was a delight to assist, her positive “can-do” attitude shone through, and we are so delighted we were able to help her attend her assessment with confidence, and get the job!

We are so happy she plans to keep in touch and let us know how she’s getting on during the training and once she starts flying. We wish you every success Sue!
