Cabin Crew Told to Put Proper Underwear On!
Pakistani Airline Boss Warns Cabin Crew to Wear Proper Underwear!
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) senior official Aamir Bashir issued a memo to Cabin Crew warning them they should wear proper underwear.
PIA Cabin Crew were already recently reprimanded by Bashir. Cabin Crew are known for their glamorous appearance and adherence to strict uniform policies. But Bashir had previously said his airline’s Cabin Crew were dressing too casually during layovers and on their commute to work. His opinion was that dressing down was creating a ‘poor impression of the airline.’
Going Viral
A video of Bashir expressing his views went viral after it seemed as if the airline boss was implying Cabin Crew were moving around their aircraft commando!
Such dressing leaves a poor impression on the viewer and portrays a negative image of not only the individual but also of the organisation” – Aamir Bashir
Past controversy
Cabin Crew underwear-gate isn’t the first time Bashir has caused a stir with his views. Back in 2019 he demanded overweight Cabin Crew lose up to 30lb in six months or risk losing their jobs.
PIA also ordered Cabin Crew to stop posting photos of themselves on social media wearing their uniform. This policy was issued after Cabin Crew allegedly posted photos of some damaged aircraft cabin within the airline’s fleet. However, it’s always a good idea to be social media savvy when it comes to work.
