Over the last 25 years easyJet has built Europe’s leading short-haul airline, flying over 1,100 routes between 35 countries.
Base:
easyJet has a large number of bases. Depending on your location and language skills, you may be based in London, Berlin, Rome or many other cities across Europe. However, if for example, you wish to be based in Berlin you need to speak English and German fluently.
Cabin Crew Requirements:
- Over the age of 18
- Height 5’2” (157.5 cm) to 6’3” (190cm) not wearing shoes
- The continuing ability to fit into an aircraft jump seat harness with measurements of 106cm across the lap and 157cm from shoulder to waist.
- Able to pass an EASA Cabin Crew medical
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Fluency in the language of the country you are applying for – verbal and written
- Ability to swim 25 metres unaided without stopping or touching the bottom or side of the pool, tread water and inflate a life jacket unaided. Additionally, you will need to be able to climb into a survival raft from the water.
- Have the right to live and work in the country you are applying for with unrestricted access across the UK, EEA and easyJet network
- Live within 90 minutes of your chosen base
- Confident in a customer-facing role, with 3 months’ experience in a relevant position
- Have no visible tattoos or piercings (unless they can be discreetly covered)
- Have your CV and passport ready
Additional Requirements for Experienced Cabin Crew
- You must hold a valid UK/EU Cabin Crew Attestation
- You must show evidence of previous airline employment: your last roster/training records/letter of employment from HR)
Salary:
The starting salary is around £1200 a month basic and around £80 per 2 flights ).
You will also receive a 10% commission from sales on board your flight. In total, you will receive around £2100-£2600 after tax.
After a minimum of one year flying, promotion as a Cabin Manager is possible, which will mean a salary increase.

Contract:
Once you have completed your initial training course with easyJet you will most likely receive a fixed-term contract, which is temporary employment. However, sometimes depending on crew requirements they may offer permanent contracts, full time.
Due to easyJet only doing short-haul flights you (almost) always return back to your base.
Your roster is very flexible. This means, that you could be flying for 2 days, with one day off. Or you could also be flying for 6 days, with 3 days off afterwards. Per day, you will operate on 2 or 4 flights.
