Fancy something new to listen to? Podcasts are huge at the minute, and convenient for downloading to listen to during your commute, or when you’re hitting the gym or even just enjoying some downtime!
Although there aren’t too many current Cabin Crew podcasts at the moment there are some that are well worth a listen, and also some older podcasts with great archived episodes!
We’ve listed our three favourite Cabin Crew and aviation related Podcasts below!
Confessions on the Fly
Flight Attendant Joe is also known for his blog and series of books sharing his experiences as crew. His podcast partner in crime LJ Salerno was a flight attendant and is now a successful actress and writer.
Airplane Geeks
Episodes cover things such as the week’s aviation news and events, a guest speaker, aviation history, reports and interviews, and feedback from the Airplane Geeks community.
Betty in the Sky with a Suitcase
Betty is crew for a major American airline and has been flying for over 20 years. She started the podcast in 2006, and likens it to “an old fashioned radio show, giving listeners an insiders view of life in the air”. She’s also a successful author, with works including a book version of her early podcast tales!
We’ also like to mention…
The Crew Lounge
This lighthearted and fun podcast gives listeners an insight into cabin crew life, and although new episodes haven’t been uploaded for quite some time, the comprehensive back-catalogue is definitely worth a listen!
Real life tales and advice cover every aspect of crew life, including training and on the job issues – and the advice is as relevant now as it was then!
There are already a lot of fantastic cabin crew blogs out there, so fingers crossed more crew will jump on board and get into the podcasting scene soon!
