Aer Lingus is the flag carrying airline of Ireland and the second-largest airline in the country after budget airline Ryanair. It is Ireland’s only 4 star airline as awarded by SkyTrax World Airline Star Rating.
Founded by the Irish government, Aer Lingus was privatised between 2006 and 2015 and it is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the International Airlines Group.

Aer Lingus Cabin Crew Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Eligible to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction (i.e. EU Passport Holder or Non-EEA Citizen holding Stamp 4)
- Must be able to apply for and obtain relevant US immigration/entry visas* which is a pre-requisite for the role (for travel to/from the United States)
- Hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
- 12 months combined experience in a face to face customer service/sales role
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates must be able to swim 25m unaided, thread water and board a raft from the water unaided
- Flexibility and adaptability to working shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
- You will be required to complete a height and reach assessment based on our aircraft types as part of the recruitment process
- Must adhere to our uniform policy and guidelines. Tattoos/piercings must NOT be visible whilst in any item of the Aer Lingus uniform
- Able to pass an airport security vetting procedure, including a five-year background check**

Desirable Cabin Crew Requirements
- Ability to converse in a second European Language
- Previous cabin crew experience and holders of an EASA Attestation of Initial Safety Training issued after April 2014
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries.
Salary:
- Basic salary is around €24,500 (gross) plus variable pay of “on average, €6,500 p.a (gross) or £17,200 (Gross) plus variable sector pay of, on average, £4,500 p.a. (gross).
